The Cincinnati Reds are 3-2 on the year after yesterday's Disaster game. Elly De La Cruz had his worst game of his young career versus the Phillies as Bryce Harper hit 3 Home Runs including a Grand Slam. Reds Lose 9-4. This Reds team is electrifying to start the year and they might be the most entertaining team in all of baseball right now even without their full starting lineup... However, their Defense is atrocious... March Madness is down to the final stages Purdue, Uconn, Alabama, and NC State?!? The Cinderella team that everyone wrote off in the first four is in the final four. We also can't forget about the women's Tournament! Iowa vs LSU rematchup yesterday was one of the more entertaining games to watch this year where Caitlin Clark got her revenge and beat LSU. March Madness Recap and Reactions! Reds Season Opener! | OTB presented by UDF

They call it march madness for a reason , but outside of an upset here….aka Kentucky and an upset there, most games in this years first round were rarely competitive. In fact, there were more games decided by 15 points or more in this years first-round games than any ncaa tournament EVER. We started with 68 teams…now we are down to 16. All four number one seeds are still alive….houston, carolina, purdue and defending champion Uconn. All four number 2 seeds are still alive….that is quite rare for a sweet 16. Two threes are still with us….In fact, there’s only one team, acc champion nc state , that’s higher than a 6-seed. The wolfpack will play marquette in the south region. Lets walk thru the matchups which begin on thursday night…. GRAPHIC Uc is still alive in the nit….the cats are in the elite 8 after they steamrolled bradley at fifth third arena on saturday and will next meet indiana state in terre haute on tuesday night at 9 o’clock. Ohio State is also still alive. The Buckeyes host Georgia on tuesday night at 7. A win by each and the next stop is madison square garden for the final four of the nit. The lady buckeyes were shocked in round two of the womens tournament by duke 75-63. Caitlin Clark and Iowa play tonight with a trip to the sweet 16 on the line. The hawkeyes face west virginia. In baseball, shohei otani will speak with the media for the first time since this bizarre story broke. At first, Ohtani’s interpretter told the world that the dodger slugger paid off all of his gambling debts for him…to the tune of 4.5 million dollars to an illegal bookie. A day later, ohtani’s lawyer said the interpreter stole the money from ohtani. The world we be watching and waiuting for ohtani’s comments later today. The Reds are on their way back from Arizona as spring training officially ended yesterday in goodyear. The reds lost to cleveland 10-7. Hunter greene went three innings and allowed a solo home run. Alexis Diaz was awful again as he gives up three runs in the cleveland ninth inning on two hits and a walk. Diaz has been fabulous in his role as the reds closer for the last two years although he did falter badly down the stretch last season. NFL News, nothing new on the bengals after a very fast start to free agency last week. Mike tomlin says russell wilson has the pole position to be the steelers starting quarterback this season. Justin fields will try and change tomlins mind. The chiefs traded star corner jaderius sneed to the tennessee titans for a third-round pick this year and a seventh-round drafy pick next year.

Michigan St destroyed mississippi st 69 - 51 . 9 over 8
Duquesne who hadnt won a tournament game since 1969, upset BYU 71-67.  11 over a 6
Creighton crushed Akron 77-60.  AKron now 0-6 all time in the tournament.  
Dan Monson and Long Beach St’s magical run has come to an end as #2 Arizona takes care of business winning 85-65
North Carolina dismantled Wagner 90 - 62
Morehead St was down 1 at the half against Illinois.  Then, the wheels fell off.  Illini win 85-69. 3 over 14
Jermaine Couisnard dropped 40 against his former team south carolina as the 11 seeded bid stealer oregon cruises to an 87-73 win
7 seeded Dayton was down 19 points with 7 minutes to go.  They went on a 22-4 run to end it.  Nevada gets a taste of their own medicine and chokes.  Its the single biggest comeback in ncaa history since… nevada came back against the Bearcats 
10 seeded Colorado St scored 11 points at halftime.  They lose to 7 seeded texas 56-44
14 seeded oakland shocks Kentucky 80-76. Jack Gohlke dropped 32 points.  10-20 from the field.  10-20 from 3.  
Iowa St beat the jack rabbits of south dakota st by 17 points.  
Gonzaga crushed Mcneese 86-65.  It was the most bet 5-12 upset.  
St peters had a less fun tournament run this time around. Tennessee won 83-49
NC state the 11 seeded upset Texas tech winning easily 80-67
10 seeded Drake choked away a win losing to washington st 66-61. 6-14 from the free throw line
13 seeded samford was robbed against Kansas last night.  A clear all ball block was called a foul. They lose 93-89. 
The Reds lose 7-6 to the mariners in spring training.  But Elly De La Cruz hit a triple! 
Spencer Steer went 2-4 with a home run
Will benson went 1-3 with a walk and a home run
Mike Ford hit 2 home runs and stuart fairchild also got another hit
Pitching wise, Martinez and Moll got crushed but Farmer, Antone and Cruz went a combined 3 innings striking out 4

Off the Bench is BACK! Offensive tackle Trent Brown signed with the Cincinnati Bengals to play Right tackle. The former Superbowl Champion and Pro-Bowler lets the Bengals have flexibility for their draft and gives them one of the biggest offensive lines in all of football. The Dodgers win the Regular season opener on March 20th! They beat the Padres 5. Glasnow went 5 innings,and gave up 2 hits and 2 earned runs. He struck out 3. Yu Darvish on the other side went 3 and two thirds giving up 2 hits and 1 unearned runs while striking out 3. They will now head back home and play a couple more spring training games In the NCAA tournament last night, the battle of the 16 seeds, Wagner tried to blow a lead, but hung on to beat Howard 71-68. Howard had 3 chances to tie it at the buzzer. Colorado st destroyed virginia 67-42. Virginia had 14 points with 9:40 left to play in the first half. They did not score until the 16th minute of the second half. Almost an hour of real time passed before Virginia scored a point. Xavier lost in heartbreaking fashion yesterday 78-76. They were down more than 20 points in the second half but fought all the way back to have a chance to tie it at the end. In Reds news, Hunter Greeene was torched yesterday giving up 7 hits and 7 earned runs in 4 and a third innings. Reds lose 10-6. Stuart Fairchild had a couple doubles. The Bearcats play san francisco tonight at 9 at fifth third
