Reds 
The Reds were off yesterday but it didnt stop them from landing in the headlines.  Noelvi Marte spoke to the media for the first time since his suspension.  
"In reality, it just appeared in my system. I really don't know how it came about unfortunately. That's as far as I know."
Marte, speaking via an interpreter: "The whole team has had my back since we learned about the suspension. I don't think it'll change anything that goes on with the team. They've always had my back."
Marte: "I felt anxious and ready to get back. Distraught that I wouldn't be able to be out there." "Fortunately, I'll be able to be out there soon."
Marte: It's looking at my diet and how my health works. I live in a country that doesn't have the health system to that you see in the states. I have to look over everything going on to make sure these results don't happen again.

The second game of the stanley cup was last night where the oilers took a 1-0 lead.  Unfortunately it was all panthers for the rest of the game.  4-1 florida wins. Evan Rodrigues scored twice .  2-0 series lead.

The fever lose yet again 89-72 this time to the Connecticut sun.  Caitlin clark was held to just 10 points as the sun beat the fever for the third time already this season.

Ja’Marr chase who has skipped OTA’s and wants a new contract, is present for mandatory minicamp sources tell ian rapoport.  He was present for media day yesterday and is in the building today. 
Mike Tomlin was extended by 3 years which means 3 more years of winning.

The REDS ended their 7 game winning streak yesterday. Frankie Montas was terrible.  1 and a third innings giving up 5 hits 4 earned runs and 3 walks.  
On the other side, shota imanaga was dominant going 6 and two thirds innings giving up 5 hits and 2 earned runs striking out 7
Carson Spiers essentially gave the Reds a start going 5 and two thirds innings in relief giving up 4 hits and 7 k’s.  In his 5 outings this season, hes gone over 3 innings every time while giving up only 5 earned runs.  His era is now 2.33
The Reds offense went to sleep. 5 total hits. Two of them by santiago espinal and one of those, he was gunned down trying to extend a single into a double
Maile boosted his average to 189 and his obp to 294 with a home run to left field.  
Steer and india also stayed hot with a hit a piece.  
The Reds are back at it Tuesday night against the cleveland guardians in the ohio cup.  Who will take home the gold?It was announced Hunter Greene was pushed back so he will not be starting.  David Bell said it was not hunter greene’s idea.

The Celtics hold on to beat the Mavericks 105-98. Luka did everything he could to cover the spread.  He scored 32 points with 11 assists and 11 rebounds. 
Irving no showed again shooting 7-18 from the field.  Pj washington was the second leading scorer with 17 points.
Jrue holiday led the way for the celtics with 26 points.  11-14 shooting  adding 11 rebounds.  
Jaylen brown added 21 points and 7 assists 
Jayson tatum…. Yikes.  18 points on 6-22 shooting.  He did have 9 boards and 12 assists.  12-for-38 (31.6%) from the field and 28.6% on 3-pointers and averaging just 17 points while committing 4.5 turnovers per game through the first two games of the Finals.

todays letter comes from little Rick. From Mr pitino’s class. Rick is a second grader at st pats in Louisville and he is on the fast track to becoming the greatest golfer of all time. 
He has a 3 handicap at just 8 years old! 
Rick went to Valhalla last weekend to watch his favorite golfer Scottie Scheffler try to win another major championship 
But sadly, little Rick on the way to the course, saw an egregious act. Scottie tried to escape the police and break through a crime scene ruining an 80 dollar pair of pants as he dragged an officer to the ground! 
Little Rick couldn’t believe it so he went to the Louisville police department and requested the body cam footage of the incident because he backs the boys in blue. 
Unfortunately they denied him access because the officer didn’t activate the body cam footage which is against policy. 
So little Rick did some more digging. He found security footage from a mile away and noticed something peculiar. 
Turns out the police officer might have exaggerated the incident as nowhere on the video does the police officer fall down or damage said 80 dollar pants
Now little Rick will be filing a complaint against the department for slandering an innocent man!

Andrew Abbott went 7 innings giving up only 4 hits and obviously 0 runs.  His ERA drops to 2.668
Fernando Cruz and Alexis Diaz finished off the game with 2 combined innings and 3 strikeouts. 
Tonight the Reds are back at it tonight with Nick Martinez on the bump for the Legs.  He enters play with a 4.23 ERA.  He will go up against Michael King who comes into tonight rocking a 4.31 ERA.  
Jake Fraley left the game after getting hit by a pitch.  The x rays came back negative for a fracture.  
David Bell expressed his frustration by throwing a chair.
