Jonathan India and Santiago Espinal had weak base hits. Mitch Keller for the pirates went 7 innings allowing 2 hits and striking out 7 The positive… Hunter Greene went 6.2 innings allowing 2 hits, 0 runs, while striking out 9. Hunter Greene has made four starts at pnc park, the reds have lost all four. In those four, hes 0-2, in 25.2 innings pitched, allowing ten hits, 3 runs, 2 earned runs, with a 0.7 ERA. The Braves survive against the Tigers yet again winning by a score of 2-1 yet again. Spencer Schwellenbach went 6 innings while striking out 7. Braves scored 2 in the bottom of the first and didn't score again. Rays fell to the twins 7-6. Twins were down 4-0 and then again 6-4. Walked off the rays in the bottom of the ninth. Cubs beat the Giants 5-2 after a 3-run 8th inning to break the tie. The Mets won their 7th straight game since Grimmace threw out the first pitch. 7-6 final score. The White Sox blanked the Astros 2-0 last night. Justin Verlander was placed back on the IL and now his 35 million-dollar player option for 2025 is in jeopardy. He needs 140 innings. He currently sits at 57 Brewers and athletics both won last night as well. NHL Things are getting interesting in the Stanley Cup finals. The Oilers won 5-3 to now trail 3-2 in the series. Reds It was a sellout at gabp last night. Its the highest attended regular season non opening day weekday game in ball park history. The cincinnati reds and cleveland guardians have split the first two games of the ohio cup. The Reds win 4-2! It was the jeimer candelario game! He hit two home runs including the go ahead three run shot! He had 4 rbis which accounted for all of the reds runs! He also had half of the teams hits with 3. Nick Lodolo went 6 innings giving up 7 hits striking out 6 and allowing 2 earned runs. The reds bullpen was lockdown. Diaz came into close the game out. Reds relievers have not blown a save in their last 26 games. Only bullpen in MLB without a blown save in that span. They have a total of 3 blown saves this season which are the fewest in the league. (next closes has 7) Friedl, steer, and Benson all added hits as well. The reds will be back at it friday night as hunter greene takes on freddy peralta. Tatum dropped 31 points to lead all celtics but jaylen brown wasnt far behind with 30 8 and 8. Kyrie irving finally showed up scoring 35 points on 13-28 shooting. Luka scored 27 points but fouled out late in the game. He cried and complained to the refs.
