Reds get swept by the Washington Nationals.  They lost 5-2 yesterday.  Andrew Abbott did all he could going 6.2 innings giving up 6 hits and 0 earned runs.  Lucas Sims gets credited with the loss.  
The Reds mustered up 5 hits.  Noelvi Marte and Stuart Fairchild each hit home runs. 
Reds get outscored 18-11 in the series.  
News also broke yesterday that the Reds are going to be looking to dump players with expiring contracts.  The focus being Frankie Montas
They now head to atlanta and its Hunter Greene vs Reynaldo Lopez tonight.  Lopez is 7-3 with a 1.88 era.  Hunter Greene has a 3.34 era

Brewers win in a thriller over the Twins 8-7.  Rhys Hoskins hit a go ahead homer in the eighth.  Eric Hasse hit two home runs.
The phillies blanked the Pirates 6-0.  Tyler Phillips tossed six scoreless innings and Phillies avoid the series sweep
Cardinals beat the Braves 6-2 as burleson and goldschmidt hit home runs.  Cardinals win the series.  
 Yankees will be playing to avoid another series loss this afternoon as the Rays win game 3 yesterday 6-4
Blue Jays come back to beat the tigers 5-4 as george springer hit two home runs 
Marlins defeat the mets 4-2
Padres take care of the guardians 2-1
The Cubs narrowly defeat the diamondbacks 2-1
The Orioles win the series but lose yesterday to the rangers 3-2 as jonah heim homered twice
Dodgers beat the Red Sox last night and Shohei Ohtani is the first NL player to reach 30 home runs.  His home run traveled 475 feet

The Reds beat the Colorado Rockies yesterday afternoon 8-1. They won the series 3-1 scoring 31 runs. 
The reds offense was solid with 14 hits,  8 of them being extra base hits. 
2 Reds had 3 hit games and 3 more reds had multi hit games
Jonathan India was 3-4 with a walk and a double 
Spencer steer was 3-5 with a double 
Tyler Stephenson had 5 rbis and 2 hits. Both of those being 2 home runs. He finished the series 8-18 with 4 home runs and 3 doubles
Reece Hinds finished his first series in the majors 8-16 with 6 extra base hits 4 rbis, 2 stolen bases and 2 runs scored
Espinal had an RBI in every game this series and went 6-12 in the series. He mashed a home run yesterday
