• The Reds lose to the Rockies 6-5.  A 3 run 9th inning came up just short.  
• Kyle Freeland dominated going 6 and two thirds allowing 2 earned runs and striking out 9.  
• Sam Hilliard batting out of the 9 spot hit 2 home runs with 3 RBIS
• 5 Rockies had multi hit games
• Frankie Montas got roughed up going 7 innings allowing 5 earned runs 
• Jonathan India and Tyler Stephenson each hit home runs .  
• Noelvi Marte had 3 hits with a double 
• Rece Hinds added another hit and brought in a run.  
• The Reds and Rockies close out the series this afternoon at 110 where Hunter Greene faces Austin Gomber.  Greene has a 3.45 ERA with 116 strikeouts while Gomber has a 4.47 era with only 62 strikeouts.  He has given up 22 runs over his last 5 starts 

Around the League 

• Royals sweep the double header against the cardinals winning 6-4, and 8-5
• Twins and White sox also played a double header and finally the sox win a game against the Twins this season.  Michael kopech in game 1 threw an immaculate inning to get the save in the first game of the double header.  Twins won the second game.  
• Cubs shutout the Orioles 4-0. Shota tossed 6 innings of shutout 6 strikeot baseball.  Corbin burnes also went 6 innings but gave up 9 hits and 3 earned runs
• Mariners shutout the Padres 2-0 
• Tigers defeat the guardians 5-4 as reese olson tossed a quality start
• Yankees win 2-1 against the Rays. stromon left early only making it 4.1 innings. 
• Phillies win 4-3 over the dodgers and will look for the sweep this afternoon.  Schwarber hit a home run
• Mets dominate the nationals 6-2 as jose iglesias had a 3 hit night
• Astros blow out the marlins 9-1
• Brewers get revenge on the pirates winning 9-0. Myers tossed 8 scoreless innings as hoskins and adames each hit homers

WNBA

• The Fever fell to the Mystics 89-84.  Caitlin Clark had 29 points on 7-14 shooting adding 13 assists and 5 rebounds.  She also added 5 turnovers.  

USA BASKETBALL

• They kicked off their exhibition schedule with a win over canada.

• Gregg Berhalter head coach of the mens soccer team has been relieved of his duties and they reached out to Jurgen Klopp
